Outwood Academy Ripon is a small, coeducational secondary academy school situated in the city of Ripon, in North Yorkshire, England. The school provides for approximately 470 pupils, including those in the sixth form. The school principal is Angela Sweeten, and the executive principal, Robert Tarn. Previously known as Ripon City School until 1999 and Ripon College until 2011, it is one of over 11 secondary schools in the local area, including nearby selective Ripon Grammar School, and the more distant Thirsk School and Sixth Form College and Boroughbridge High School.
